While brainstorming comics a few weeks ago, I wrote the line "You ever wonder what cows are thinking?," but I didn't know what to do with it.
A few days later, I was thinking about character pairings, realized that I haven't had a one-on-one comic with Alex and Lisa, and the whole thing fell into place.
