I pushed Trish to read the last Harry Potter to us quickly, before I heard any spoilers, but now I wish I hadn’t. I can’t believe we’re done with the book already. I wasn’t ready for it to be over yet!

After years of looking forward to each new adventure in Harry’s life, it feels weird to know that there won’t be any more. Why can’t we hear the stories of what happened between the battle and the epilogue? There must be more good material in there somewhere!

Why does it have to be over so soon? While Trish read us the book, I forgot all about the raccoons. Thinking about Harry’s world gave me a break from my own. My traps and my plastic swords haven’t helped with the nightmares.

I wish I had special powers.
