(1) BRIAN: What are you reading, Jane? JANE: I'm studying the lives of Napoleon and Alexander the Great. (2) BRIAN: Why? JANE: I'm looking into ways to take over the world. (3) JANE: Unfortunately, taking over the world by military force looks like a lot of work and the odds aren't great. (4) BRIAN: So, you're dropping it, then? JANE: Nope. I'll just have to find a better way.
