Lisa is teaching me how to "keep my cool." We have been practicing meditation for several days now. It’s harder than it looks.

She said that I was supposed to empty my mind, but there are so many fascinating things to think about: the new fossils that substantiate a connection between dinosaurs and birds; the use of tools by chimpanzees and crows; the leisure activities of Japanese snow monkeys…

On second thought, perhaps I shouldn’t visit the National Geographic site before our meditation sessions.
